Origin: Colombia and Guatemala
Our first dark roast! This ain’t no French roast but is dark for us! This coffee is meant to be full bodied and approachable with some roast characteristics and a sweet and nutty finish. Heavyweight will stand up to “whitener” (industry verbiage for milk!) and sweeteners and should be familiar to any coffee drinker as a solid blend with a deeper, robust coffee flavor.

"I love coffee and I drink it black. I typically stay with Peet's French Roast. I wanted to try Rival Bros and went with the Heavyweight Blend. I found it to be a bit bitter and it has some acidity. I grind it fresh before each time I brew it. I have a great grinder, I also brew in a Moccamaster coffee maker, so I feel its a good combo and the coffee did not meet my expectations."
